Sargas
The HQ for the UTFP is located in the Sargus A-B star system.
Star(s) Sargas :( Theta Scorpii )
Sargas lies in the far south of Scorpius, near its borders with Ara and the Southern Crown. It is a binary star that shines with a yellow-white light, nearly three hundred light years away from the Sun - (Sol).
Sargas also lies in the Milky Way just south of lamda and nu, with which it formed one of the seven pairs of Twin Stars; as such it was Ma-a-su.

History of the star: A red star in the tail of the Scorpion (Scorpius).
Sargas is a Euphratean title, and it may have been, with iota, kappa, lamda (Shaula ), and nu (Jabbah), the Girtab of the Euphratean lunar zodiac, the Vanant of Persia and Vanand of Sogdiana, all meaning the "Seizer," "Smiter," or "Stinger"; but the Persian and Sogdian words generally are used for our Regulus.
In Khorasmia these stars were Khachman, the Curved. (Allen).
This puts it approx. 150 light-years beyond the known boundaries of the 24th century Federation. It is set against the much closer backdrop of the Milky Way- (The center of our galaxy).
Traveling at warp 9.9 it takes 35.884890107190934 days to reach Sol/Earth from Sargus/Gibraltar.
Gibraltar
Gibraltar is the only class M planet in the system and is located 4th from the twin suns at a distance of approxametely 150 million miles from Sargas B, the outmost of the binary suns.
There are 4 other planets. Sargus I, Sargus II and Sargus II are all rocky planets. Sargus V is a gas giant the size of Jupiter.
Gibraltar has 6 moons. The smallest ranging in size of 15,000 miles diameter to largest at 50,000 miles diameter.
The nearest Non-Federation Territory belongs to the Breen.
Colonial Population: 1,264,160
Largest Population Center: New Phoenix City
Climate: The climate on Gibraltar is generally on the warm to hot side. The central continent has the greatest range in climate ranging from mild in the southwest to hot and arid in the north east. The mid-section of the central continent receives the most rainfall.
Snow is found in abundance at the two polar regions. Because of the mild axis tilt of the planet, both poles are subject to snow-fall and melting during the course of the year.
Transportation: There are four main modes of transportation on Gibraltar.
- The first is a system of shuttle transports which cover the planet in interwoven routes- covering the entire planet and enabling both humanoids and cargo to go to and from the far scattered Cities and settlemts.
- The second is site to site transport. This is the quickest means of getting from one place to another, although is is restricted to personnel travel only. An individual traveling in this manner can be depositied anywhere but requires a transport platform or pad for the return visit.
- The third is the uni-tram mass transit system which connects many of the buildings and complexes on the continents- wherever there is a built-up population and need for such transport.
- Lastly the stargates. The stargates are mostly used for transport up to the spacedock or other orbiting work facilities and rarely used for site to site transport on the planet itself. The stargate is the least efficient as it requires a gate at both ends of transport.
