ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

All trainees are required to pass the simming 101 basic course as well as the Intro-101 course of their chosen department.

Upon succesful completion of your basic training, you will either enter the Timefleet as an officer or you will take up a position on the headquarters staff.


Final scoring for all of the simming 101 courses will be as follows:

100% - 95% - Passed with high honors, promoted to First Lieutenant for Timefleet cadets.
89% - 70% - Passed, promoted to Second Lieutenant for Timefleet cadets, Ensign for Starfleet cadets.
69% - 0% - Failed, must retake the course.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

DEPARTMENT CHIEFS

Members who have completed the basic simming 101 course and have been nominated by their Commanding Officer or Colonial Governor may attend the Education division Department Chiefs school. This gives the candidate specialized training in their fields. Department Chief candidates will return to their positions and take the department head position they trained for, if it is available, or they will be assigned to where they are needed.
Completing and passing the department chiefs course will earn the candidate a promotion. Failing the class, the candidate will return to their previous position. The candidate can elect to request a transfer if so desired. A candidate who has failed the course will be allowed to retake the course after a period of three.

First Officer/ Lieutenant Governor Candidacy

Officers or civilians must be nominated by a commanding officer or governor to attend this course. The course teaches basic leadership principles, and how to perform the task of first officer/ lieutenant governor. Upon the completion of this course, officers may hold the position of first officer on any ship or lieutenant governor on any colony.

Commanding Officer / Colonial Governor Candidacy

Officers or civilians must be nominated by a Division Commanding officer or District representative or higher to attend the CIVIL ADMINISTRATION AND COMMAND COLLEGE. In the course the candidate will learn advanced leadership skills, and how to manage a ship or colony etc. At the midway mark of this course. The candidate is given a ship or colony to command is watched keenly for a while. If the candidate completes the course successfully, the candidate is then given full command of the ship or colony.
